Joe's Wreath 2012

This is Joe's Christmas Wreath,

We couldnt really afford to have one made at the florist this year, plus they always seem to be so big, and I dont like to put huge wreaths on such a small grave, it doesnt leave room for other little ornaments that people have bought him over the years, so I purchased a small bamboo star and added Christmassy bits, it had the pinecones on already, I added the rest, some lovely red tinsel with stars running through it, for some reason, red doesnt show too well on photos.

I was delighted with the result.

International Wave Of Light

As today is the last day in the Babyloss Awareness Week, we take part in the International Wave of Light, where you light a candle and let it burn from 7pm to 8pm, through the timezones, this creates a wave of light for 24 hours. We released some lanterns into the sky, a couple of them were quite naughty and came down again but they did eventually all go up :) beautiful.

Another Weekend Spent

So here we are, at the end of another weekend, tomorrow is Monday, I wonder what the week will bring, a few certainties for sure, but a whole load of uncertainty too. Tonight, I made a card for family as we have a funeral on wednesday, so will be a sad week.
